When going through the Spike Corridor leading to the Silver Ring check, you can use the invulnerability frames given by items or spells to go through the spikes and through the blue door. The easiest way to do this is by having multiple iframe items such as the healing potions, but some players have also found ways to do this by using spells like Hellfire or Summon Spirit, which also grant iframes.
